Doombringer is a character in the Aquablade Chronicles. Initally, he was a purple Pokémon sprite of the Poison type. In between the events of Aquablade Chronicles: Omen and Aquablade Chronicles: Sunrise, he changed into an Ice/Ground type and acquired a different appearance.

It was revealed in "Inevitable Contention" that he transformed into his current Ice/Ground type form because of events during the ten year time skip featured in Sunrise. When he discovered that Inundatopolis had some connection to the world of Inferis, he and various other sprites attempted to enter this world, which resulted in sprites such as Ozai dying, and started the transformation of Doombringer himself into his current Ice/Ground type form. They were trying to retrieve the Sun Sage's soul so that hopefully they could bring back the sun of Kruxor.
