The crystal ball.
Fortuna's crystal ball is a magical spherical crystal which Fortuna uses to tell fortunes.
The abilities of the ball varies depending on the user. Salavaur used it to create life, while Melzor, Fortuna's mentor, used it for self-defense. Fortuna herself uses it to tell fortunes by seeing into the future of the person. Other people who touch the crystal ball turn into the exact opposite of themselves. It also changes the inside of a room it is in to look like outer space.
When Fortuna uses it to tell details about the future, it is based on what could happen in the future as of the present, thus the future events could change from what she sees. In addition, it is vague and usually told in riddles.

Pre-history[]
The ball was once at the end of a staff used by Salavaur.
Belt of Infinity[]
The ball was used to complete Vaur's quest to become Salavaur. Vaur cloned himself using a device, then ordered his clone to touch the crystal ball, which resulted in the clone turning into Vaur's opposite, Sala. Vaur then battled Sala, won, and absorbed Sala's abilities, thus turning into Salavaur.
The crystal ball appeared during Salavaur's Darklight Scepter move.
